Beginning December 1st and running through December 12th, we are hosting a 2-in-1 event. This single event combines our 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments Crochet Along (CAL) with our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways!

• 12 Days of Christmas Ornament Crochet Along: For crocheters who want to crochet new Christmas ornaments for their tree, or for gifts (and enter to win additional prizes)!
• 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways: For busy crocheters who don’t have time to join us for the ornament crochet along, but who would love a chance to win fabulous prizes!

🎄 What is the 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments Crochet Along?

The 12 Days of Christmas Ornaments CAL is a fun and engaging event where participants come together to crochet up to 8 crochet ornaments over 12 days. On December 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th, we will release TWO brand new crochet ornament patterns. Crocheters will have three days to crochet one or both of those two ornaments to be entered to win those prizes.

Each ornament is thoughtfully designed to capture the holiday spirit. By the end of the CAL, you’ll have a stunning collection of handmade ornaments to adorn your tree, or give as heartfelt gifts.

Event Highlights:

• Brand New Free Crochet Patterns: On December 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th, we will release 2 new ornament patterns, complete with step-by-step instructions.
• Skill Levels: Patterns cater to a range of skill levels, from beginner to easy.
• Community Fun: Share your progress, tips, and finished projects with fellow crocheters in our dedicated Facebook & Ravelry community groups.

12 Days of Christmas Ornament Crochet Along

The following is a list of all materials Sonya and I are using for our crochet ornaments.

Materials

• Yarn: Worsted Weight / 4 yarn; Lion Brand Pound of Love and Lion Brand Basic Stitch were used for our crochet ornament samples. The following is the list of colors and amounts of each that was used.
  • Note: These amounts are for ALL 12 ornaments and may vary a little.
    • Pound of Love White – 180 yards
    • Pound of Love Cherry (red): 115 yards
    • Pound of Love Wintergreen: 65 yards
    • Pound of Love Black: 90 yards
    • Basic Stitch Pine Heather: 12 yards
    • Basic Stitch Almond (light brown): 50 yards
    • Basic Stitch Hazelnut or Honey (medium brown): 50 yards
    • Basic Stitch Skein Tones (a skin tone): 60 yards
    • We may also use scraps of other colors for small features (think pinks, blues)
• Crochet Hooks: I/9/5.50mm; H/8/5.00mm; G/6/4.00mm
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle
• Locking Stitch Markers
• Measuring Tape
• Chenille Stem
• Hot Glue (an option in some designs)
• Black Safety Eyes (optional)
• (12) 2.5″ diameter Jingle Bells
  • An alternate option will be included, if you do not want to use jingle bells.

  • Note: If you have a Facebook account, please choose between the FB group or Ravelry group and only post your photos for entry in one group. Each entry will only be counted once.

  • Crochet 1 or more new crochet ornament designs we release. You can make as many as you’d like and each one will gain you another entry for prizes.
• Enter to Win Prizes
  • After you’ve finish a project, head to the respective designer’s Facebook group and post a photo of your finished item on the 12 Days of Christmas CAL post.
  • The more projects you complete, the greater your chances are of winning!
  • Crochet ALL 8 ornaments and you’ll be entered to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card!
